With a smaller weapon, specifically a XD9sc, does one need to get a larger IWB like the CBST or would something with one clip suffice? I don't want to go overkill on a large holster if only a smaller piece is needed.

Side note: I have never carried before and don't want to make a bad choice!

I would say stick with the cbst or mtac

i started out with a XD9 service and got the CBST...fits great and conceals really well. recently i bought a XD9sc and it..... conceals better

..... and its comfortable. i know my brother has a galco that is just like the CBST for his glock26 and it is comfortable as well. the comptac and kholster have good reviews too. comfort and concealment..... i wouldnt want to give up one or the other if i can have both.
