Anyone ever deal with Fist Holsters?

HOLSTERS

They make some awesome looking stuff.
I spoke with them via email 10-15 times and the guy always answers my questions and responds fast.
They will custom mold for my laser and they do thumb breaks on any holster for a fee. My two main requirements.

I dont hear of many people with their holsters. So im looking for anyones insight before i purchase. Mainly that the turn around time isnt 9 months seeing as i have to send my laser in. My other option is Raven Concealment systems, but i know they have a reliable following. Fist just has a few holsters available that more fit my needs.

Any input?
Mainly looking for opinions on fist as a company.

Thanks!

A Fist #8 was one of my first holsters for my XD9 Service--definately a quality holster. I had only two complaints with it: 1) the gun rode just a little high (maybe a 1/2" or so) causing the end of the slide to dig into me a little, and 2) the belt loop slots weren't adjustable. My original gun belt was 1 1/2" leather so that's how I ordered the holster. My belt of choice is now a Wilderness 1 3/4" which won't work with that Fist holster--this is why I ended up selling it. I kinda wish I still had it to see if the "digging" issue still exists as I am now 45 pounds or so smaller than when I wore that holster--mite have been caused more by my love handles than the holster.

Haven't heard of them. I bet there are a lot of small shops that do quality work.

I haven't used their holsters personally but I have a friend who swears by their stuff. His leather always looks pretty good though...

OK quality. Poor customer service. When you have a problem/ send it back. I'm still waiting 2+ years now.
