I don't care as long as it gets here before my CHL does.

I use a belt from 5.11 tactical it was around $35 holds the gun nice and tight and it dose not look like a "gun" belt. it dose not look like anything out of the ordinary so you tend to stay less obvious. and you don't want to use a walmart belt, no disrespect but... you spend $500 on a gun, 50 to 100 on a holster don't skimp on what holds both of them to your body. just my 2 cents

I use a Gunners Alley custom leather gun belt. Very high quality work for the price. I highly reccomend this belt for anyone looking for a quality leather belt. Its a little more than what you are looking for in price. About 80 bucks but you get what you pay for in a gun belt. Id put the quality of this belt up against any custom leather belt in the $150 range.

As for a holster, I have several and I am currently in the market for another. Different holsters work better for different situations. Personally, I don't care for an IWB holster. Just too unconfortable to me. I have em but only use em when necassary. I prefer paddle holsters. Absolutely the best for comfort but not always the easiest to conceal.

Thanks to Krackels putting up a post in a similiar thread about lapolicgear I bought three pairs of 5.11 pants and they came with three of their belts for a total of $60 shipped. They were on super clearance.

I had a 5.11 leather belt once; not going to make that mistake again.

Compared to almost any other leather belt I found them to be very cheaply made. I put on my Serpa paddle and the hooks stripped off the black "leather" top coat and exposed the stuff that was actually underneath. It fell apart under minimal wear.

I am glad it came free with a pair of pants from LA Police Gear.

im using a 5.11 double stich with stiffener it definatly isnt top notch but it gets the job done i dont have much problem carrying around my 1911 and for the xd or sw642 i almost dont need a belt. the 511 only cost me 2.99 plus shipping i will eventually get a crossbreed or the like due to thicker and heavier duty leather
