I agree Orlando, but I was thinking on a shortened "Tanker' style would be a light fast-handling piece.

Getting a "Tanker" that functions properly is the problem
Heres a guy that manufactures one that will work evrytime.
I have had him repark several rifles for me. Great price, fast return, perfect workmanship.
You want a Tanker, hes your man. Its called the Mini G
Conversion Tanker/Sniper

That's the one I'm talking about, Orlando. I'm going to have him do the repark on my Garand. i got his info off the CMP forum.
