Loved it. Each director brought something different to the table. Now that we've come full circle with Ridley Scott back at the helm, the crown jewel has once again been place on top of the Alien franchise. Just don't call it a prequel to his face, he's still denying it. He's just being wierd that way, you'll see for yourself, it is what it is. A hospital scene, is the most far fetched for me, otherwise, it wraps up neatly, but sure hope there's more.

I wouldn't say it's a prequel, I'd say there were elements in there that obviously predated the movie, but other than that, something else entirely.

I thought it was great. Saw it in 3d, pretty fn cool. Ridley Scott knows how to make a movie!

I was not entirely impressed as I thought I was going to be. There were a lot of holes in the plot, a lot of unexplained things that the other characters seemed to just shrug off and ignore. B- for plot.

A+ for special effects and quality of acting, however.

The two dudes that walked off from the group, well that was predictable.

Yep it's pretty cool, science fiction is my favorite genre so I'm biased. I'd see the sequel too when/if it comes out and will probably buy them all on Blueray when they come out just to have them.

I liked it a lot, and enjoy science fiction films. The plot was a little spotty or and even predictable at times, but the ideas, mystery, and potential future plot lines are pretty cool. Some complained that it was a little far-reaching of a plot and nit picked but I felt it was just about right, though I certainly wouldn't mind a little more explaining and filling in of details pertaining to the plot. I'd give it around a B+.

also, saw it in 3D and it was visually awesome; the effects and scenery was cool and went well with the good acting.
