I was looking over my "Supertuck" the other day trying to figure a way to improve/create a new Supertuck "*Lite*" if you will?

*Here are some ideas that went through my head:*

*One:* Trim about 1/2 inch off the "Rear" flap so the holster won't have to wrap so far behind "smaller" users.

*Two:* Add three more holes to the flap so the holster could be worn deeper IWB and a good FBI cant could still be used.

*Three:* Add one more "Fastener" per clip to make the clips more secure and help stabilize the holsters further.

These are just a few ideas; I hope you don't mind some feedback.

*Keep up the good work; your doing a great job!*

I could swear a few months back when I looked at the Crossbreed page there was a different selection if you had a 45 caliber XD. Now it appears that you only have to decide between Service/compact, sub compact or XDm. Perhaps I am imagining things and it's always been this way, but I'd like to be sure because I have an XD40 now but I'm looking to trade it for an XD45c and want to have the correct SuperTuck. Thanks in advance!

Crossbreed Supertuck Adjustments

I got my Supertuck about 2 weeks ago and have been wearing it and breaking it in. Very comfy right off the bat and getting better the more I wear it.

I am carrying an XD45 Service. The grip does print and am curious about the best adjustment to make to make it so that it does not print. I am wearing it at about 3:30 or so.

Any suggestions from those who wear this combo everyday. Thanks in advance and a thanks to Mark for a fine product.

I can't believe this. I ordred my holster on Friday and it was delivered yesterday(Wednsday).
I am very impressed with the quality.
It took about an hour to fiddle with the location and cant angle to get it just right.
Other than the weight of the weapon(XD45 Service) I can't tell it's on my waist.
Pic's to follow as soon as I get a chance.
I think there will be a SuperTuck in my future for the 1911 also.

Thanks CrossBreed.

6'1" and 265. Yes, I did beat anorexia. Right handed. XD45 Service 4" barrel.

Will the horsehide version be the best fit for Houston area considering humidity? or will cowhide be fine?

I am going to hold off on the combat cut as that seems to be a simple enough fix if I choose to do it later.

Appreciate the help gents as I can no longer stand the anticipation and want this thing on the way. LOL.

I want to order my friend a ST for his Para P12. it's the 3.5" barrel, double stack with no rail.

On the ST selection section, there are a few for just 1911's and (2) for Para's. One a widebody with rail, the other a widebody without rail.

Anybody know which one I should order?

SnapSlide

So I have a SuperTuck and I love it. However, with winter approaching, I was thinking that it would be more comfortable to CC with an OWB holster under a fleece or a coat. So I ordered a SnapSlide.

To be honest, initially I was disappointed because the SnapSlide didn't hold my gun as close to my body as I would have hoped. Even under my main winter coat, it was printing.

However, before sending it back, I decided to try inserting my gunbelt through the slots so that the belt went OVER the holster instead of underneath it. Lo and Behold, the holster worked perfectly keeping the gun nice and tight (but still comfortably) close to my body. Sure the sides of the holster stick out a bit, but not nearly as much as my gun did when I inserted the belt the normal way.

So, I'm pretty sure I'm gonna keep the SnapSlide and not utilize the two-week return policy. However, before I completely decide, I was wondering if (i) anyone else has tried/does this? and (ii) is there any disadvantage to inserting the belt over the holster instead of underneath.

BTW my SnapSlide is "Field Grade" so its not like I'm hiding the pretty leather this way.

Thoughts anyone?

Combat cut

For those of you that have the SuperTuck, did you opt for the combat cut and if not did you wish you had?
I am going to order one but this option has me scratching my head.
Without it do you have a good grip to begin with?
This will be for an XD Service in 45ACP with thumb safety.

Thanks,
Uplinker

When I first thought about buying a conceal gun and how I was going to carry it, IWB was at the bottom of my list. Well after coming to XDtalk and seeing the overwhelming popularity of this holster, I thought I would give it a try and am extremely happy I did. The holster arrived Friday and I have been wearing it ever since. It is very comfortable and was able to tuck my shirt in easily with no printing. I spent the day with my brother Sunday and he didn't notice until I told him I was carrying. He was surprised at the concealment it offered. As many others before me, I highly recommend the Supertuck. Thank you Mark and the employees at Crossbreed for a superb product.

Supertuck and Mag Holder

Mark,

Any chance of getting a Supertuck with a mag holder on it also, I have a supertuck and I love it but I would like a place to put a spare mag. I have thought about your tuckable mag carrier but I just dont have enough room, so I thought that if the mag carrier was incorporated into the Supertuck it would not take up any more room inside the waist band. Just an idea.

Went to sleep with crossbred holster on

On one of th other forums I troll we were talking about holsters and crossbred came up. One of the members said he would sleep with the holster on at his friends house how lives in a bad neighborhood.

I was curious so i tried it myself. I loaded a snap cap in my xdm (safety first) and holstered it for the night. I carry at the 4:00 position and sleeping on my left side felt fine. I tried sleeping on my back and putting most of my weight on the gun like i do when driving. This was a bad idea. About 15 minutes later my right foot began shaking up and down, like it was a little boy whose only dream was to become a cloud when he grew up. After 2 hours of tossing I decided to just ditch my pants. My pistol managed to stay in the holster the entire time

In conclusion if you feel you need to be armed in your slumber, you should reevaluate your sleeping conditions. Other than that, crossbred was fairly comfortable to sleep on in the right position

If I change my mind on how I want it mounted just put a new velcro patch down. WA-laa

Hey,

I just ordered a Supertuck and belt from Mark for my XD(m). Mark was great to work with. Answered my silly questions right away. Anyway, the holster is for my XD(m) but I might be picking up an XD sub-compact. Anyone try it for fit with both?

Thanks in advance.
