I bought a Sig P250 this week. It was mostly an impulse buy but it is the 4th gun I have gotten since my husband got one. I have a feeling his next gun will be very expensive...

Image: http://i760.photobucket.com/albums/xx247/verticallyblessed/DSCF2202.jpg?t=1257821631

Just bought the 870 and put the side saddle on. Also took off the ridiculous "tactical extension" door buster snag-o-matic choke and put on an improved cylinder choke. I'd also like a low-pro red dot, extended safety, stainless mag tube follower, and a light mount for it. I bought the tlr-1, tlr-3, and offset light mount for the AR at the gun show last weekend. I think my zombie arsenal might be complete. Of course I say that, but I still want a saiga 12, .308 or .243 of some kind, and some other stuff. This should take care of a good few undead though I think.

An hour at the range with my AMD-65 and Mosin Nagant M44

First time back after the debacle last Sunday. Everything went well with the rifles again, other than me having a brainfart and shooting on a red light (someone had stuck their hand over the line while picking up brass and tripped the sensor). The AMD again functioned 100% putting close to 300 rounds downrange, while the Mosin Nagant M44 went through 20 rounds and made me a little sore. Need to get a recoil pad or something...

The man-shaped targets are 14"x23", and the other is 14" square.

Mosin Nagant M44, 100 yards, 20 rounds from a rest (11/7/09)

I'll tell you what I know. This is NOT altered in any way!!! These were taken by my daughter on her way to MEPS. It was taken with an old digital camera with no preview window. She had no clue they turned out this way until after we uploaded them. Now I can understand that if the shutter speed was slow, you'd get a streaking type effect, but why did the prop blades turn out this way??? Any good photographers out there??? Any Ideas?? Once again, these are not chopped or altered in any way!! I have about 12 of them in different angles.

posting for my friend john

The XD45C has the Robar NP3 Norton Special along with a Competition Trigger Job set at 4.5# and runs smooth as silk. I also had them round off the trigger guard and I think it looks great and I added the AGRIP grip as well. All In all it's like a brand new firearm. The XD40SC has a Hard Chrome Slide done by Tripp's and a Combat Carry Trigger Job set at 4# done by Daniel at PRP and this baby is awesome as well. It also sports the AGRIP grip. The XD45C has TRU-GLO TFO night Sights and the XD40SC has Trijicon Night Sights. In the future I intend to send the lower half of the XD40SC to Robar to have all the metal parts done with NP3 and the trigger guard rounded off as well.

Here's a pic of my Glock 17 taken down to a 19 grip, then stippled. I also sanded down the trigger guard a tad where my strong hand middle finger rests, but it can't be seen in this pic.

I'll try and get more pics today if I ever get around to putting some pants on...

Brought home a little beauty today - a Marlin 30AW, chambered in 30/30. It will serve as my deer rifle, and planning on using it this Saturday morning

So I took it out, and wanted to make sure it was sighted in OK. Below is the target. 70 yards, 4 shots, all on black. I know, I know, it's not MOA shooting, but I think open sights at that range, it's pretty stinking good

And here's the beauty:

Also picked up a double rifle hard case - can't remember the name off the top of my head - I'll have to look when I get back home. Starts with a "C" though.

Picked up the sling at Wally World for $9.00, and a box of Hornaday LeveRevolution for $22.95.

All in all, I'm really happy. I did pop a Tasco scope on it at first, but I didn't have the time last night to sight it in, and the rings were too high for the bore scope, so I just went open. I'm going hunting in the morning, so I guess I'll be OK :)

Oh, and the serial starts with a 10, so it's a 1990 model

Brought home a little beauty today - a Marlin 30AW, chambered in 30/30. It will serve as my deer rifle, and planning on using it this Saturday morning

So I took it out, and wanted to make sure it was sighted in OK. Below is the target. 70 yards, 4 shots, all on black. I know, I know, it's not MOA shooting, but I think open sights at that range, it's pretty stinking good
