I am watching the NEW ST movie again for the 5th time and I have to say I LIKE IT! The Character development is great, I like the way that they introduce each of their personal relationships with one another, the overall story was very well done and the SFX are GREAT!! I think they did an excellent job on this one.

So I'm calling out all you TREKKIES, and TREKKERS: POST UP HERE AND BE HEARD!!!

Dan Wesson CBOB
Pros: Well made, thinner, bigger caliber, better trigger, plenty reliable, I shoot 1911 style pistols well, and it is my "dream" pistol.

Glock 19
Pros: Higher capacity, much cheaper, plenty reliable, I shoot G19's well.

Feel free to offer your opinion.

Soldiers should be able to CCW?

I know its bias for asking Gun Forum....

If I was there and was carrying. It would of ended in 30 seconds not 3 minutes. Thats if I didnt get hit to begin with.
How many lives would of been saved in those 2.5 minutes?

Who makes the best .22 auto pistol?

I would like you opinion of the best auto loading .22 handgun. Along with your vote please explain why you like it. Here is a brief desciption of each for newbies that are interested in buying one.

Mods, I know this is the wrong forum, but does anyone really go to the Polling Place? JK, feel free to move it if you see fit.

*Beretta Neos:*
Image: https://www.berettausa.com/img_catalog/ju2s60x_L.jpg
Neos means "new" in Greek, and Beretta's American design staff started with a clean sheet when drawing up this new line of .22 pistols. The lines are meant to appeal to a new generation of shooting enthusiasts who are respectful of the past while bringing a fresh attitude to the shooting sports. The Neos pistols feature cutting-edge design, modular construction that allows personalization and the flexibility for many shooting disciplines. Available at popular prices, the Neos is ideal for new shooters, but it won't easily be outgrown as skills improve.

*Browning Buckmark:*
Image: http://www.browning.com/products/catalog/images/051381m.jpg
Browning Buck Mark rimfire pistols lead the industry in quality, reliability, accuracy and variety. Every Buck Mark starts out as a solid piece of aircraft-grade 7075 aluminum alloy, and then is CNC machined to exacting tolerances. The crisp single-action trigger, hand reamed chamber, target crowned barrel and finely adjustable target sights mean the Buck Mark comes ready for fun straight from the box. The Ultragrip RX™ and Ultragrip DX™ represent the latest in grip technology. The finger grooves, laser stippling and stylish wave patterns combine to form an Ergonomic Interactive Surface (EIS) that puts your hand in the same place on the grip for every shot, resulting in more instinctual shooting and improved accuracy. The textured surfaces are comfortable and secure in any condition, while the narrow profile makes them perfect for all hand sizes.

*Ruger 22/45*
Image: http://ruger.com/Firearms/images/Products/261L.jpg
All Ruger 22/45's (including Hunter) have the same grip shape, feel, and familiarity of the famous 1911 .45 caliber pistol. The perfect low-cost trainer, it is ideal as a low-cost pistol, allows for quiet practice, and provides shooters with the familiar and preferred 1911 grip.

*Ruger Mark III:*
Image: http://ruger.com/Firearms/images/Products/262L.jpg
Ruger Mark III™ (including Hunter) pistols are the perfect combination of a proven design and reliability, with features demanded by today's .22 pistol shooters. A 10-shot magazine, rigid barrel/receiver connection, automatic bolt hold open latch, comfortable, ergonomic grip angle, precision sights and a free scope base adapter (on adjustable sight versions) make for the most versatile and most valuable small bore pistol on the market today.

*Sig Mosquito:*
Image: http://www.sigsauer.com/upFiles/catalog/product/Mos-TT-detail-L.jpg
Ergonomically designed to give the best shooting experience, the Mosquito is built on a tough polymer frame and features an accessory rail, rugged blowback system, fixed barrel, adjustable sights, and multiple safety devices. There are five Mosquito models available. The Mosquito Reverse Two-Tone has a stainless finish on the frame with a blued slide. The more traditional Mosquito Two-Tone has a stainless finish slide and polymer frame. For the classic professional look, there’s the basic Mosquito with a blued overall finish. The Mosquito with Threaded Barrel, which also has a blued finish, is designed to accept most suppressors. For those who take their target shooting more seriously, the new Mosquito Sport features a lower sight radius and is fitted with an extended barrel and barrel weight.

*S&W Model 22A:*
Image: http://www.smith-wesson.com/wcsstore/SmWesson/upload/images/firearms/107437_large.jpg

New truck tire time.....ouch$$$

Truck needs new shoes.... got a flat on the way home from the eldest soccer game today {They lost 2nd round of the tourney:-(} and as I helped the 12 year old change the tire {he needs to learn:rolleyes:} noticed that the tread is down. Can't complain too much...I have 54k on the tires and on a 4wd F150, that ain't bad.

Now, the problem.....what tires to get. On our other F150, we have the Bridgestone Dueler A/T Revo....been a great tire and have about 50k on those also {Hopefully that truck goes away before it needs new tires also}. Normally I would just go with a set of those, BUT and here is the but.... The 2008 has 20" rims...and from the Tire Rack, the Bridgestones are $225.00each....$900.00 plus mounting/tax/etc.....and there goes the XD-M I have been looking at.

The Firestone Destination A/T's have a good rating with the Tirerack, but my experience with Firestone Tires goes back to the 80's and the old 721's...so not much help there. I know that Bridgestone owns Firestone so an assumption is that they are good tires also. Cost on those is $141.00

Or I could go with the stock tires: Pirelli Scorpion ATR.... They have been a good tire, especially in wear, but the snow grip is not the best and I usually have to hit the 4wd switch pulling the boat out of the water. Cost on these is $134.00 each.

Looked at the BFG All Terrain T/A's, but they are very heavy which will kill the gas mileage and make more noise that I really want to have to put up with. Since this truck is a 08 and has already hit 54k, I spend a lot of time in the truck. Most of it is highway, but boat pulling, hunting, and getting to and from work in the snow is part of the truck's duties.

Particulars are:

2008 Ford F150 4x4 Super Crew
Tire size: 275-55 R20

Going to stick with an A/T tire....any inputs? Anyone running any of the other tires? Need to do this quick....don't see any reason to pay to fix a tire when new ones are on the way.

Thanks for the help
