Hi,

I just purchased a 9mm conversion barrel for my XD-40 service. Seems to work just fine with OEM guide rod and springs. What, if any, would be the benefit of switching to one of your guide rods and a different spring when using the conversion barrel? If there is a benefit, what spring #(s) would you recommend for (1) the conversion barrel and (2) the 40 barrel?

Thanks for your help.

going to be purchasing a DGR for my 5" .45 XD Compact, the 5" tactical fatty rod will work with the compact, correct.

I cannot decide between the fatty and the one that uses 1911 springs, i would think weight up front would be better than the ability to change springs (it is not a comp gun)

i like the idea of the weight on the fatty,
i do like the bushing on the one for 1911 springs though too...

help me decide?
