Walked outside and saw two rabbits munching in the grass. Quickly got my Marlin model 60 .22lr and popped one bunny into the air. The other rabbit got the hint and was gone. The $.04 for the bullet was cheaper than the carrot and got me a rabbit in the fridge. I just love living in the country.

This is from a baited area that I have in East Texas, near the Big Thicket. Unfortunately the trail camera lens had gotten wet so the picture came out blurry. All the other pictures were just birds and squirrels...which is surprising because I previously had been seeing some deer. I cant figure out if this was a dog, wild hog, or a big bobcat. One theory is that the concentration of birds and squirrels has attracted a bobcat...which would explain the deer disappearing. On the other hand there are a lot of dogs roaming around there. A hog I would have expected to stick around longer to eat. I'd like to hear yalls opinions.
