I do not have any pics from when it came in for some reason, I thought I took some but cannot locate them on my phone. So if anyone else has some as it was packaged/unboxed, please send me a PM and I will add them to this post.

Now on to the review.

Final duracoat colors were FDE body, with OD barrel and metal parts. I also cut down the barrel (kept it at a legal length). I will try to get a finished picture of it later today as it's in the trunk from being taken to the range last night. Total assembly could be done in less than an hour I'm sure if you just blew through it.

Pros:
Shoots perfect, very little recoil compared to what my other SKS's are.

The balance is almost perfect on it.

Shoulders really well.

Extremely loud and gives one hell of a fireball come dusk.

Extremely nice build quality, the plastic shell is nice and thick, will not have to worry about it cracking or being damaged.

Comes with everything needed, not a single thing missing (actually I take that back, it was missing a bushing for the tri-rail, but after looking at it I didn't want to install it anyways).


Downsides of the kit are:

Some parts are a PITA to install, mainly being the safety latch and the trigger group. It took several adjustments to get it to reliably shoot. At first it would shoot the first round, but not fully reset. Once I got it to do that via dry fires, it still wasn't enough when it came to live firing. so once again, had to take the but plates off and one side of the stock off (not hard, just annoying). However, once that is done, it was GTG.

It is somewhat picky about magazines, I have a no-name 30 rounder that will not fit in it due to hitting on the grip. However all of my Tapco 20 rounders work fine.
