So...I have a M1A SOCOM II with Vltor stock. I am not crazy about this stock. Wen I bought this, it came with original stock, which I liked about it before I even bought it.

I am not loaded. So selling Vltor will help me acquire the scope mount, possibly extended rail. What is stopping me from really swapping it out because I've read few times that the original stock cause it to shoot 2 MOA whereas the Vltor makes it a 1 MOA. Is this true?

If I do sell the Vltor stock, what is a realistic asking price? Can I still put battle rail on the original stock?

I may keep the top part on if I can put it on the original stock. Maybe bottom, too and add Magpul forend grip to lessen the sharpness of the rail on hand.

I hope these can be answered by an expert who owns and shoots it, unlike myself. I am an AR guy and gave up AR for this rifle last January.
