It is not the scope shifting in the mount trust me. I have contacted Vortex, but i am not sure if i should just take a credit with them and get a different scope or what.

My wife loves to shoot her Mossberg 715T at the outdoor range. It has an inexpensive red dot mounted on it. What minimum magnification on a scope is required to see where your shots hit the paper at 100 feet and again at 100 yards? We use a Simmons 20x60 spotting scope but she would like to see results and aim with a scope.

So I'm wanting a g33 magnifier and debating on trying to put together a trade for one. I'm picking up my new S&W Shield in 9mm and I think I might try to trade it for the g33. I already have an XDs and a XDSC 9 that I can use as my ccw. Anyone have one that can tell me their opinion on it? Thanks in advance!

Just purchased my first bolt. Now I want to take it to the range, sight it in, and work on distance and accuracy. Would basically like some input on a spotting scope. Looking for something good to around 200-250 yards. New to this so go easy. I understand magnification. So not a complete idiot. I have heard barska is cheap and you get what you pay for. Also heard a reccommendation of nikon.

Thanks

Just picked up a Redfield Revenge 3x9 for the measly price of 119 at a local gun show - brand new, lifetime Leupold warranty. Even tho this one is made in the phillipines. First impressions are that is is solidly constructed, and has very crisp clear optics for the money. The zoom ring is firm and smooth, and the windage/elevation knobs are good solid clicks that do not require loose change or a screwdriver.

I have not purchased my compact .308 ruger american that it is going on just yet, but should have it soon!

Chime in on your experience with Redfield optics, or similarly inexpensive scopes.
