DGR helps accuracy?
When I bought a used XD40 Service, it had a DGR with it. I didn't think much of it until today. I shot 30 rounds (bottom group) with the DGR in place then another 30 rounds (headshots) without the DGR. Was it the DGR that did this? How?

Curious as to what DGR stands for? Anything that may help accuracy sounds good to me.

It's cool. I do New Posts all the time and sometimes overlook the subforum name.

Maybe the colored shape helped you focus on spot, and the head was more like "this is good enough". Repeat with a similar shape drawn on the head and see if that is it.
My groups look that good at about 1 yard, what range are those?

Seven yards. Does the DGR affect accuracy?

I actually noticed a difference in my accuracy and feel of the gun when I installed my DGR. Much better than stock.

i think a dgr gives you better accuracy like a bike helmet gives you a false sense of security. don't get me wrong...i love the dgr in my xd9. but i think the effect you see here is merely psychological...
