The DGR will affect how the gun feels when being fired. There is nothing that can directly affect accuracy. That said, who knows...

If you have a Fat DGR it adds a tiny bit more weight up front. Maybe it's like a sportbike and putting stickers on it to make you go faster!

I am sort of of the opinion that once the sear is released all is done for accuracy, but certainly faster vs slower loads print at a different height even with a stock spring so the recoil spring is still in play. I won't say that changing springs will help your accuracy, but I can not say that they absolutely do not.

Took my XD45 tactical to the range yesterday with my newly installed fat tac DGR.
It was definitely worth the money. For me, it didn't affect my accuracy per se. What it did do was give me a bit better control and speed on my follow up shots. It was definitely faster getting the irons back on target. Since this particular gun is my bedside weapon, that is exactly what I was looking for. Good product Don, and very well made too. The machining was nice and clean, and it dropped right into place as advertised... Scott |

My accuracy is always better early. The angle at which you shot may have more to do with it as well.

I shoot a xd 9 tach with a dgr and 19 pound spring and notice more accuracy with my double tap shots
