Range Report Don's Guide Rod W/ 22# spring on XD40 V-10

Installed DGR w/ 22# spring on my XD40 V-10. Tested at the range today, 100 rnds of WWB 165 gr. no hiccups! I 've heard some people have problems w/ this spring on ported 40's, so I figured I'd let fellow V-10 owners know it worked for me. I'll post my results when I get my 9mm non ported conversion barrel in a couple of weeks.

What did it do for felt recoil and/or muzzle flip?

it seemed to have reduced the recoil somewhat,as for muzzle flip, it's not really noticeable as the ported barrel already greatly reduces that. The gun did seem to shoot smoother and a little more controlled. Also it just looks cool as hell, and you can't beat the price! I origionally got the 22# spring for my 9mm conversion barrel, which I yet to recieve (EFK says they'll be shipping the on 15th), but I just had to see how it worked on my ported XD40.For thoseof you who have a v-10 I say get one , it's worth the $$.Thanks Don for a Quality product And thankyou Pistolgear.com for super fast service
