HELPP!!! Gun won't disassemble = rod installed wrong!

Don HELLLP!

Hey i installed the guide rod improperly and now my gun won't dissassemble! I did not have access to the internet at the time so i went by memory from what i saw on pistol-gear.com... unfortunately i did a couple things wrong.

I put the spring on backwards so that the double coil end is on the muzzle end and i added a washer on the back end of the rod.

After putting it all together... it felt fine... but now i can't dissassemble.

PLEASE HELP!!!

PRoblem fixed.

ANd for those who may search for this post later... this is what i did to undue it....

Since the misplaced washer at the back end of the rod is too large in diameter, it is causing the slide assembly(with guide rod and spring) to get caught on the take down lever. THe difference in diameter however is very minimally different between this and the diameter of the oem rod. So to get my slide off, i forcefully slapped the bottom of the reciever with my hand as i tried to push the slide forward.(Of course this is after i have already locked the slide back, raised the take down lever, rack the slide, pulled the trigger as per the normal disassembly procedure.)

Man was i worried though....

Eric.
