I will assume that you were referring to the Winchester white box sold at Walmart, 100 rnds to a box............my experience with these has been that they are a little hotter than the average and sometimes the loads appear to be inconsistent (some have more recoil than others)....

I would try some CCI Blazer Brass, they seem to be more consistent and the recoil is less significant than the WWB.

If you lived a little closer I would tell you to have her shoot Ms. Nemet's 686 with .357s in it for a day at the range. That 9 will feel like a cap gun after that.

shooting .357 picking up the 9mm is like picking up the .22.
