What's Best for my XD45ACP Tactical......
I'm going to be ordering a Guide Rod but I want to know what Spring # wil be the best. I was thinking of the Tactical DGR Skinny with the #22 spring, is this a good choice?

If you aren't shooting production there is only one answer................................Tungsten!! The tungsten guiderod really reduced muzzleflip on my .45 Tac. I think spring weight is a personal thing depending on what sort of recoil you like. They are pretty cheap so buy a couple and experiment.

I have 14, 16, 18 & 20 lbs recoil springs. If you're using WWB bullets, you can leave it as is with the factory spring @ 18lbs. I use my XD45 tac to shooting matches and use lower grain reload bullets and lower fps so I experiment with those springs. Right now I use 200-grain bullet with 14lbs. spring on Don's Fat Rod.
