5" XD

What kind of improvment can I expect from your guide rod and spring in my new 5" Tac in 9mm?
Thanks

The guide rod will add a slight amount of weight to the front replacing the hollow factory rod, and a bit of bright color.
But you can already change out the springs on your Tactical using the factory guide rod. Any spring for the full size 1911 will work. Modeling the spring choice after what many 1911 users do, increase the spring weight until the brass is ejected about 2-3 feet off to your right. The will keep it reliable and reduce the muzzle flip somewhat.
I don't own a Tactical so I can't give you any first hand impression.
