DGR problems with ligt .357Sig reloads and 20/22 lb. springs

I have developed a great light load for my XD357 Sig Service that is both accurate and easy on the gun and me. It works perfectly with the stock captured recoil spring assembly. It does NOT with my DGR and either the 20 or 22 lb. spring. The slide will not return to full battery. I am wondering if the 18 lb. spring would be a better bet. Don?

It would be worth a try, springs are cheap. But if it does not go into battery are the springs getting weak?

Brand new Don. Scott at PistolGear told me to give the 24# a try too.

Don,

I do agree. If the slide is not going into full battery, it may be because there is not enough forward tension (spring too light). For this reason, we are sending him both a 18# and a 24# spring to try.
