Don,

Would you be interested in making steel or tungsten guide rods for the Steyr M series? No one currently makes them there is interest over at the Steyr Club @ Glock Talk.

Thanks,
Matt

dont know bout tungsten but stainless or non steel guide rod would be awesome for steyr M & S series pistols.

if you are not to busy with making the XD guide rod a number of people would be willing to purchase one.

Can't you just call Steyr or Diamond Trail to get the measurements? It's not like it's top secret.

If they ask why, just say you're making a Steyr information website or something.

From c5367's post on Glocktalk:

The fat diameter head makes it tough to make it using techniques I do now. The rod type from the Taurus PT92 would lend itself to custom shapes better. The head is a seperate piece pinned onto a plain shaft. But until I could figure that out, I wouldn't be able to provide a rod in a timely fashion. If I contract out the production then it is a problem of batch size and cost versus what it can sell for.
Sorry guys, for now it's a no-go. But I'll think about it, and look at some different material sources and see what I can do.
