OK, so where do I get one?
I've looked on pistolgear.com, who is sold out of pretty much everything that is DGR related. Is there another webiste I can buy a DRG/spring combo?
Also, a quick question here...sorry if this has been covered, but I need an opinion. I'm interested in this product primarily for reliability reasons, and maybe a little bit of bling over the stock rod... If an 18# spring is pretty much stock-equivalent, and the 22# spring has some trouble with weaker rounds (from what I've heard in other threads), would the 20# spring be a decent compromise between the two? |

I've only had issues with the 22# when using the 9mm conversion bbl. Have only had good outcomes in the 40 with the 22# and 24# spring. I've got the 40 service, it's about a year and a half old with approx. 1500+ round of 40 and about the same of 9mm through it.

What loads have you used with the 22# spring? I'm thinking that it might be in my best interests to just buy all of the different ones and try them out.
I'm still at a loss as to where I can purchase a set though. Does anyone besides pistolgear sell them? |

as far as reliability with the heavy springs goes, I've got the 22# spring on my xd9, and shoot wwb 115 gr and haven't had any problems at all...
Also... I'm gonna order the stock weight spring soon just because I can recover from the recoil faster on the 18 pounder... I'd like to go lighter, but I don't think you can on the service model... |
