Post DGR for the XD-9 Service

Where is the best place to get the DGR for the XD-9 Service? What are my options in springs and what is recommended?

Any help would be appreciated.

What I'm mostly interested in is keeping the factory feel to it just making the gun look sharper. I hate the plate at the front of the guide rod. If possible I would love a black finish guide rod without the plate in the front and the same feel as the factory pull.

I read Don prefers the #22 spring for the XD-9 Service. What does that mean to me as the shooter? lighter pull?

Thx I've just looked at their site. I'm not sure if there a black finish offered on the DGR for the XD-9 Service. Does anyone know?

Thx apdl.

Do you know what the difference between the #16 and #22 springs is? I mean is the #16 going to make the slide easy to rack? That might be a nice idea if I add a compensator to my gun.

I don’t think the 16 is recommended for the 9mm service the lowest you want to go is 18 the 22 pounder is going to make the recoil a lost less ppl swear that it helps them shoot others say it is hog wash but it is gonna be harder to rack if you get a heaver spring. I don’t know anything about compensators but pretty sure you would not want to go less weight either way
