Ok, just got my Guide Rod and Spring today
Got the guide rod installed fine and all, but I also got a smaller spring with the set. It's a XD9 Service kit, can anyone tell me what the smaller spring is for??

its for a 1911, its a striker spring... if you got Dons guide rod, then you got Wolff springs with it, and i believe those 2 come as a set...

Cool, thanks for the quick reply. Hopefully I'll be able to take it out this weekend and so how the new set up is.
