Don's current rod should work just fine with the NHO Compensator since the NHO Comp connects to the barrel, not the frame.

comp
there is a hole for a extended guide rod though
I know spaceghost used a 5 inch guide rod on a 4 inch service model to have the guide rod extend into the comp |

Why would you run an extended guide rod on a XD? I don't know Spaceghost, do you have pics of his gun?

I see it, thanks. Not sure why he would use a Tactical Guide Rod in a Service model. Based on his post, it seems like he needs to run with the Service length rod and a lighter spring (14# or 16#).
