This bushing does not fit the .45 Service, sorry guys. That one is coming soon.
Does that include the fellows who worked with you on the service

Yes, for those that have helped with the service I will replace those too when I get the parts (still a ways out).

Don, can you still use the OEM spring with the skinny rod?

Possibly, but no need to (and I have not checked to see if the dimensions are too tight). If you want the original spring the original rod is just fine and has no problems.

So what happened to the skinny XD-45 Guide rod? I have one for my XD-45ACP Tactical and like it because I can run some of the real light 1911 recoil springs with it while shooting real light production loads for competition in USPSA production division. I have run 45ACP loads as light as a ~140PF in my XD-45ACP. With 200gr bullets that is really soft shooting. I went to Pistol Gear to get some stuff including so new recoil springs and noticed the skinny guide rod for the XD-45ACP is not listed any more.

Did I miss it or is in no longer being made? Just curious.

Later

I still have it, it just does not move very fast (maybe that is why, I do not see it on PistolGear's site either). I figured it would sell better, as you can get just about any spring you could ever want (and some you should never want) using stock 1911 springs.

You can find it at XDGuys store.

I have had some prototypes out since the introduction, the problem is that the springs do not hold the slide in battery. Some have good results, some not so good so nothing that I want out there.
