New Bushing Install guide
Didnt really see any post with pics on how to install this so I snapped some quick pics when installing mine.
1. Get your spring (you will be only using the large one), rod, and bushing unpackaged. ![]() 2. Slide the bushing onto the rod with the smaller circle up like the pic below. ( sorry pics a little fuzzy) ![]() 3. Next put the rod into the rod opening on the slide like so. ![]() 4. Now use the rod to seat the bushing to where is sits flush with the front. May take some pressure just make sure you are pulling straight and even. Dont pull at an angle to the slide. Should sit like so. ![]() 5. Now your going to install the spring and rod. Slide the spring onto the rod with the double loop part of the spring seated on the tapered part of the rod like so. ![]() 6. Now just install the rod and spring like you would normal. May need a little more muscle then with the stock should look like so. ![]() ![]() 7. Now just install slide like normal and now you have your DGR with the new bushing installed. Now go shoot and have fun or just admire the shiny parts. LOL
