Just to drag this out forever, I have played with yet another spring type that shows more promise but still may end up lacking. I am not able to abuse it now so it is sent out for double secret testing.

Seriously, I have sent out yet another combo for testing. I have not given up, but it is a slow process and I want to get this version abused for a while before I even go to beta testing.
Hang in there, maybe something will pop into a workable idea.

Nearly. I think it would benefit from a solid guide rod though, preferably a heavier one. The way I was shown, if your group is too big, slow down and if your group is too small speed up to achieve "combat accuracy." Less recoil the better IMO.

No good news. The last springs that I tried just a few weeks ago could not keep the striker cocked and keep the slide in battery.
