Another SuperTuck order & Day by day review

Just placed an order over the phone with Craig. I hope this holster is as good as everyone says it is. I really like my XD9sc but if I can't carry it comfortably then I may think about getting a smaller gun. So far Im not happy with the holsters I've tried. The Crossbreed is my last attempt.

Mark said they are at 2-5 day build time so I should see it in about a week.

May I suggest..... rub it down with some type of leather treatment. I used my baseball glove oil to soften it up. Then wear it around in the house with your gun to break it in some..... 12-24 hrs. before going out. I have two... Just my opinion.

I've had my Supertuck on for about 10 hours so far today. I've adjusted it a few times trying to find just the right spot. So far the only spot buggin me is the front bottom corner of the leather is digging into my upper leg/hip area a bit too much. I can't seem to get that adjusted out yet. Im hoping some leather conditioner/break in time will remedy that problem.

Concealment is awesome!

I had the same thing with the front part of the leather backing. I ended up trimming the "wing".

Well, it's not really the extra leather overhanging that's the trouble, now that you say that. It's the mounting area for that front c-clip that's digging in some. I've tried it in the 3 lower most holes and have the same result with all three.

I did move the whole rig back some, Im at 3:30ish now. But if I go back any further the butt of the gun sticks out the back too much. Hmmmm...

I also trimmed the plastic clip. That's the beauty of the Crossbreed Supertuck. You can make it fit you and not rely on some holster maker to decide what fits you.

Thanks for the pictures. I wasn't able to wear it today so I'll get back to testing tomorrow.

The Supertuck is breaking in nicely. The Kiwi leather conditioner definatly helps. Although I still can't seem to get the "digging in the leg" part adjusted out. Tonight Im going to trim the leather and the plastic clip some like Prophead did. That's a great idea!
