How to adjust?

The website says you can adjust the cant of the holster. How? I can see where you can adjust how high or low it sits.

I think in this case adjusting cant means raising or lowering one side to a different height that the other.

The clips can be moved up or down, thereby adjusting the ride depth or cant of the entire rig and thusly the gun.

The adjustment holes are in the leather backer and don't show very well in alot of the photos, but they are there.

Thanks

The cant would be adjusted by moving, for example, the front lower than the rear. This would result in a more aggressive forward cant.

I'd rather have my XD and not need it, then need it and not have it....

I personally don't recommend it.

Although it will physically fit, it will be very sloppy as the XD is taller in the slide to bottom of trigger guard dimension. There may be other issues as well that I am unaware of, we pretty much focus on making our holsters work for guns in the same family.

Just move the front by itself or the rear by itself.

i think thats actaully backwards. I adjusted mine to be a little more forward and raised the front clip. when the front clip is raised, the front half of the holster must lower in order for the clips to get back to level so a belt will fit through them.

As for the adjustments themsleves, all it takes is a screwdriver and about 2 minutes to place the holster however you like.

hey

in a ditch effort for my supertuck to conceal well, i lowered the holster by changing the phillips bolts to a higher position, im trying to make it sit like it does in there video.

its a great quality holster, and my xd scraped the inside of the leather, i wont be a prick and try and return it, im gonna really try to make it work for me.

hopefully im on the right track.

Good luck. I found mine works best with the holster lowered (the screws up) one notch from where it comes to begin with. This puts the screws in the second hole from the top. (I think this is where you just adjusted yours to.) This made the gun sit a little lower and it doesn't poke me anymore. I also got a good stiff belt (I went cheap and got a 5.11 Tactical, but I like it). That helped immensely. The weight doesn't drag at one side as much anymore.

Honestly, I don't think I'm going to FORGET I'm carrying around a .45 with 11 rds in it, but it certainly is pretty comfortable this way.
