I am 6'2" 210lbs. slight "love handles" and wear it at about 4:00.

I use to pull my shirt in to a form fit and reach into my fly to tighten it down with the belt buckled. Since I have been carrying in a IWB, I don't pull the shirt in, I fluff it slightly. People that know that I do carry, do not know for sure.

Your imagination will play tricks on you for a month or so, and you'll check it often, just get over it. People are carrying all sorts of things on their belt in todays world and other people never pay attention to it.

I will sometimes carry my 642 in my pocket with a load clip on my belt, exposed, and if people notice it, they assume that it's a cell phone or something.

I get better results with the clips at the higher position. It places the gun lower along the belt line. As a result, the gun hugs the body closer. Also, toss out your 1" belts. I am now using 1.75" belts and they keep the gun and holster more stable.

I will wager most of your problem is in your head. You'll be surprised that the ordinary person will have no clue you are carrying concealed even if you do show a bulge. The ordinary person has no idea to look for this.

No one has ever noticed I carry concealed, even when I knew there was a slight bulge due to a certain way I was bending or reaching for something.

Heck last week a police officer was at my house visiting and she had no idea I was carrying until I mentioned it.

My biggest tip is to use a square cut shirt that stays untucked, and wear a t-shirt under for comfort. You can find these shirts at most department stores. Kinda like the hawian shirt without the flowers.

Keep in mind that Because you KNOW it's there, you will see the buldge. It is like the Pictures you have to stare at for a while to see. Once you know its there, its really easy to see. When my wife, and I got Our Crossbreeds, I was wearing it around the house to break it in. She ran out to the store, and when she got back I said the same thing...I think it buldges too much on me. She looked at me and said, your carrying your gun now? I realized that it was cause I KNEW it was there, and could see it really easy.

If your not sure, invite a friend over, and see if they notice. They problably won't.

+ 1 on square-cut shirts. I have a closet full of them. Sometimes I wear them buttoned. Sometimes I wear them unbuttoned. Either way hides the gun just fine.

+1

I do not have a crossbreed, yet. But I know that their rationale is true. I have a highnoon "Alter Ego" that I am sure bulges more than the crossbreed. I saw several family members and even after I told them that I was carrying, they were not sure exactly where. In my mind, it was quite obvious.

Get a polo one size to big. YOu're about the same size as me, acutally exact same size and weight as me, and I buy XL polo style shirts. Works perfect, b/c you can either afford to leave it untucked and you look fashionable not like a thug (not talking 4 size too big) or tuck it and afford a little fluff so you don't print.

I wear my Polo shirts without going a size bigger and still have no probs. Absolutely no one can tell. The other night I asked a friend if my holster showed, he said "Oh yeah I can see it pretty good." Funny thing was he was looking at the wrong side- I'm left handed!

Yet another XB question

Thanks for all the answers and responces! Regarding the belt, I bought a XB belt the same time I bought the holster.

The "J" clip closest to my SOB keeps coming off the belt, why is that?

Still think I'm going to buy a compact 1911 for EVC, been carrying a snubbie on my ankle until I get this figured out.

Thanks again.
