squeaky crossbreed?

I love my two crossbreed holsters (one for my XD and one for my S&W 442), but my horsehide holster for my 442 squeaks when I move around a lot or press against it while sitting in a chair. Its only been worn outside once, but has been worn several times around the house. My XDs crossbreed never had this problem, but I'm thinking it shouldn't be a big deal, just a matter of using some leather cream or something on it.

Has this happened to anybody else? And does the leather cream do the job of stopping the squeaking?

I just got mine a few days ago, and I can hear the leather squeaking a little. I would bet that it will go away when the leather breaks in a bit. It's still pretty stiff.

Mine makes some noise as well. I am sure that treating the leather will resolve the problems.

I never notice any squeaking with mine. I do suspect it will lessen with more wear.

Mine squeeks BUT. I think it might be my belt rubbing the clips or something. If I tuck it with no belt and go around the house Ive not paid much attention other than now you are bringing it up but I dont remember any squeek then.

Yeah, I purchased a supertuck for my XD .45 compact and the thing squeaks too much to remain discrete. I think the squeaking is mainly due to the clips rubbing against the belt, which I also bought from Crossbreed. I'm going to have to call them and ask about what's going on. Also, the belt is so thick that it has bent and deformed the (standard) clips a bit, which is not cool.

My holster does the same thing. Kind of loud too. I dont use it very often though because my revolver is my main carry gun.
