SuperTuck - DRIVING - BELT SIZE

I posted this in the "accessories" page, but figure I'll get more answers here.

I've never liked IWB. They've never been even close to comfortable enough to wear all day. However, due to new clothing regulations (must tuck my shirt) it looks like I may have to explore that route.
The SuperTuck actually looks like it would be the most comfortable as well as giving a secure fit. I've had too many IWB's come up when I've drawn my pistol, it's not even funny.

Question1:
Does the SuperTuck allow enough comfort while seated, driving a car? I like to carry OWB at 4:30 - 5:00 o'clock position. But will obviously adjust that if needed for IWB.

Question2:
I wear a wide ''instructors'' belt in the field, will the clips/loops that come with the SuperTuck fit a wide 2" belt? I would probably order the J-Hooks as an option, any experience with them?

I'll either be carrying IWB with my .45XDC or a single stack Sig.
Thanks as always.

1. I find my Supertuck to be the most comfortable IWB holster I have worn while driving. To be honest, it's pretty easy to forget you have it on whether you are driving, sitting in a chair, or even laying down (I've taken a nap with it on). If you have too much excess weight around your waist, the top part of the leather may push into the lovehandle area when seated. That's about the only possible issue you might run into, otherwise it is very comfortable.

2. The standard clips will probably not fit over a 2" belt, my 1.5" belt seems to be about the maximum. I can't speak for the J-hooks or the V-clips.

Supertuck is comfy.
To say you may forget you have it on (even while sitting/driving) is not an exaggeration.
Although I did sell my Supertuck (on this forum) and bought a Quikclip.
It is also made by Crossbreed.
It has a single clip and is easier to get on and off.
An option that I needed for my daily wear.

As far as the clips for 2" belt;
Email Crossbreed and ask them.
They are more than helpful with their customer service.
They (like any XDtalk sponsors I've dealt with) are prompt and professional with their email responses.

I carry mine at the 3:00 position. I had to trim the front clip and some of the backing leather with a razor blade so it doesn't dig into my thigh when seated. This is really easy to do with the Supertuck and I can't imagine doing it to those pretty $150 fancy hide ones.

The clips I have are perfect for a 1.75" belt. It will not fit a 2". Crossbreed may have other options for you.

Thanks for the info guys, I would have hated to sink in $60+ into something I was unsure about.
I just need to decide on which pistol to have the holster made to. It'll probably be my XD45C, but my Sig is a lot lighter. I'll be carrying it for about 12hours a day, plus I have all the other necessities on my outside "Batman Utility Belt" for work Thus weight is an issue
Maybe a good excuse to buy a XD 9mm service and do a chop job

Get both! Haha, I have one for my XD and my government 1911. I am 6' 1" and can still easily conceal the 1911 (albeit it is quite heavy) all day long.

The SuperTuck is very comfortable. I've been known to wear it all day, even when driving around and getting in and out of the car. The only warning I will give you is that tucking does not work well unless you have a really small gun.

Ouch, that could be a deal breaker, good to know. Another excuse to buy the new Kahr PM4 .45acp. Guess I need a bigger paycheck

FYI, please do not neglect to look at and try the crossbreed deluxe. I have had them both, and the deluxe is on me every day. I am a physician and I have it on me underneath my dress shirts everyday and it is never seen and it is the only one I use. I also like it because it will fit any XD of any caliber and size. Crossbreed will let you try it for a couple of weeks for free. Just return it for a no questions back guarantee. They do this because no one in their right minds will return it after wearing it for a week or so. You will love it! Take a look!
