Check to see how/what is rubbing against the fabric..its more than likely something on the pistol rather than the holster

I have the same issue with my 5" colt.

I carry my XD45 Compact in a CrossBreed Supertuck all day every day and fortunately have never had this problem.

I've had the problem mostly on cheapo WalMart pants, although I can see a light spot on some of my jeans. I also carry a 5" .45, and it's definitely caused by the barrel/end of the slide.
I just got some of those iron on patches in different colors (black, tan, and denim) and put them on the inside of my pants where the barrel rides and no more problem. By the time they wear through the patch, the pants are about done anyway.
The patches are really cheap and take 5 minutes to apply.

Yeah happens to me too with cheapo pants. They wear at the clip and also the corners of my pocket where my wallet is in.

I have the issue on cheaper pants, but my issue is I go through shirts like crazy it gets a bunch of little holes from the but of my weapon. About every six months I have to get new shirts.

I had the same issue with a couple pair of pants, as others have said it's the sharp square edge at the bottom of the clip that's caused my problems, I've wrapped mine with electrical tape and that's fixed the problem, but I just got a dremel and will be using that to smooth out the edges in hopes to prevent it from rubbing through the electrical tape. Glad to hear Crossbreed has addressed this issue and fixed it.

XD barrel wearing a hole
I have a super tuck deluxe and a XD 9mm 4" barrel I wear it on the top holes to get it really deep the problems I have found are if you go deep the pants get super tucked in the holster and you cant get your gun back in after you draw. Also the slide has worn a hole in two pairs of pants. I do wear it 7 days a week all day so nothing is perfect I guess. I wish pants didnt cost so much. but a small price i guess. o my first post here good site.
