I ordered the combat cut in horsehide for my XD SC .40 and have no regrets whatsoever. You have to experiment with the fit, cant, position then all good. Second day of use and I spent 7 hours in the car... No problem. If you order with a belt (like I did), don't forget to order a size larger than normal... or suffer the wait of a new one! I ordered 10/15 and received 10/31.
