Well, maybe rope, and or duct tape... (Sounds bad...) One of my duties at work is to remove garage sale and other such signs that are placed on utility poles. Often times if they are not nailed or screwed in they are taped or tied with rope. I have a Gerber Multi-tool that I carry with me, but I would prefer something that deploys very quickly... for those, oh so important moments when... well shtf....

Yeap, Everyday, plus one weekend a month. I get a few dirty looks when I remove them, but mostly thumbs up! Politicians running for office hate me!

It is plastic. Very good retention though. I think for horizontal carry you would have to attach it with some paracord (which it comes with). I was carrying it IWB, but almost stabbed myself as I use it very frequently during the day, so I switched to OWB.

Check out what Dale has at The Knife Connection. I am very pleased with my purchase.
