Gun Log & Shot Tracker - Thought I'd Share

I created these some time ago and track all my weapons. Thought I'd share. Easy to modify if you are familiar with excel. If you don't know excel and have a question, please ask.

Not to diminish your work here, I just use Range Log. They make it pretty easy to pull all kinds of reports, even info from reloading inventory. The main reason I use Range Log is because they make it really simple to input match scores for later analysis.

Whatever you may chose to log your shooting activities with, it's an important bit of record-keeping to do, and is highly advised. Boomer's spreadsheet is very simple and easy to keep updated, it appears...plus it's free!

Thanks Erich, This is a simplified version of the one I created for myself which includes various pivot tables and Now that I've started competition shooting, I'm creating tables and forms for tracking my scores.

I'm an Excel programmer and can do a lot with these. Granted a paid version that is specifically designed for that purpose is always going to be a better choice for those who wish to pay. I personally like this simple approach and thank you for your input.

Interesting stuff -- always appreciate anyone's efforts along these lines, so thanks.

I don't have a box running Windows, so I'll try these with OpenOffice and keep my fingers crossed...

Nice logs. No failure rates in the .38 or your bolts!

That's funny SE2002, These were just bogus numbers I added as sample data but good catch, Freudian slip I suppose.

I was just getting ready to put something like this together, thanks for saving me some time, I'll just tweak yours rather than start from scratch.
