I don't usually have it on my person when at home. I do generally take it with me from room to room unless I'm just stepping in to another room for a minute (e.g. using the bathroom). I'm not really concerned about a home invasion when I'm awake, but I do like it to be within arm's reach most of the time.

If I walk out the door for more than a few minutes I generally holster up and the gun is usually on my side until I put it in the downstairs safe before bed. I keep a different gun in a Gunvault in the nightstand so I don't need to carry a gun up and down the stairs if I don't happen to go out that day.

I carry mine at home. I would feel like a real idiot if my gun was not there when I needed it. I mean until the guy killed me then I wouldn't feel anything.

I keep at least one handgun in every bedroom and always have one close. I also have 2 shotguns and a rifle that are where I can reach them within a few steps from pretty much anywhere in the house.
