"A strong body makes the mind strong. As to the species of exercises, I advise the gun. While this gives moderate exercise to the body, it gives boldness, enterprise and independence to the mind. Games played with the ball, and others of that nature, are too violent for the body and stamp no character on the mind. Let your gun therefore be your constant companion of your walks." -Thomas Jefferson

if i am going to a range it is because it is nasty out and i want to shoot inside, as i am fortunate to be able to shoot at home out here in the county. people are scary.

if i go to a range, i go right when they open at 10 on a weekday, usually only one or 2 other people there, and they are people like me that know what they are doing. no idiots taking their stupid girlfriend on a "date" or any of that bs.

I disagree. What you are describing is survivorship bias. You learn from mistakes, not successes.

I used to take flying lessons. I subscribed to the AOPA magazine. Every month's issue would have an article about someone who does for overlooking something basic. Focus and training are mandatory for anything dangerous.

In this video was not being reckless. He had trained enough to in-grain muscle memory, but it was the wrong training for this situation.
