So now, do you call and wait 5 or 10 minutes for the police while your wife is being raped and beaten to death, or do you go and do something about it? Your call. Personally, I'd clear the house, because its something I've practiced. Guess wanting to save my wife's life makes me a tool then. Oh well.

That sounds like a quote that someone around here has....
"When seconds count, the police are only minutes away."
And considering the fact that I'm quite sure I'm better at room clearing than most police are, I'll take my chances.

So your wife is being raped and beaten and you are going to do a methodical room to room clearing? I think I'll bypass the room clearing and make my precense known pretty quickly. I think we both know we are talking about two different things here; an ajar door to an unoccupied home and a kicked in door to an occupied home. gtfo

Ok now I see why you took exception to my "tool" comment. You intentionally leave your home unsecured/unsafe so you can come back to an ajar door and conduct a clearing. ugh

And if you HONESTLY think I was serious about that comment, you may want to go out to the garage and take a good look around because you may have a TOOL missing.
I'll break it down Crayola style next time and preface my comments with:

It was a joke.....you know....funny, funny.....haha.

Have my SC on me right now. My other XD is in my night stand, and my wife's Sig is in her night stand. I'm also about 5 feet from my 870

With all the mall ninjas on this forum, sometimes it makes me wonder. At any rate, I'll take your word for it and even chuckle for good measure.

The gun grabbing democrats have taken over the government here in Colorado. So, like the freedom haters that democrats are, they're getting busy with attacking the 2cd Amendment piece meal. They've going to start by passing a law that requires guns be locked up in the home.
So I figured I'll just carry it all the time, even when home. I do have a ccw, and carry whenever I'm out and about. Now, I'll carry when I'm in, too.

I carry when I am home.
My wife and I were the victims of a home invasion in CA, and after we moved back to my home state, we found it to be as bad, if not worse than CA.
Never again.
If they make it past the Shepherd and Belgian Mal, then they need shootin..LOL
