+1 on CBST. Had mine for 4 years and love it. Got the J clips for better hide.
Thing to consider is: Quality will be remembered long after cost is forgotten. Buy 10 others and then buy a CB, up to you.

The best thing you can do, aside from listen to the folks in this forum, is find a place like Gander or Bass Pro Shops that will let you buy, and return it if you're not satisfied. The only way to find the holster setup that works for you is to try everything. The alternative is to end up with a nice collection of holsters... and one you LOVE.
If you're looking for IWB (inside the pants) concealment, and comfort-ability, you may find the crossbreed well worth the money. I found a similar model (thinner leather) on amazon for $39 shipped for my xd 40 service model. I've worn it for 2 10 hour days consecutively, and I LOVE it. I have a pile of others, but this style (kydex + leather hybrid) makes me look forward to carrying all day long.
Galco makes a similar product, you could also look at Bianchi or some of the other custom leather outfitters.
Good luck, when you find the rig that you like, the search will be worth it.

I use a Tommy Theis tuckable horsehide because I am in Florida and it holds up to moisture well. It is very comfortable and secure.
I also have a couple Remoras. I keep my gun in one on the nightstand when I sleep, and have one in my truck. They are also nice when you are not wearing a belt. I do not feel that they are as secure as my Tommy Theis for everyday wear, but good nonetheless.

I've carried an XD40 subcompact in a Crossbreed Supertuck with a Crossbreed belt for five years now. Wearing it as I write this. Wouldn't have anything else. They give you a two-week return period, too, but I've never heard of anyone returning one.

Galco King Tuck, Crossbreed, Galco Fletch, Galco Miami Classic, Remora, and many more. Depends on how you want to carry. The ones in blue I own and would recommend for concealed carry.

I love Black Hawk's Serpa holsters. I can use as a paddle or with belt loops, and it has a perfect retention system. I have converted all my holsters to Serpas.

For my work I use the Blackhawk! SERPA. Off-duty its either the Blackhawk! Askins Avenger or Galco Matrix. I carry either my XDM40c or XD9sc.
Starting to carry my J-Frame in a pocket pretty often too.
