I dunno about Florida, but KY apps take forever as well. It took me right about 2 months to get mine back. I had an issue with mine getting stuck in background too. I hadn't heard anything back, and my dad's had done came in, had an address error, so he filled out a form to fix it, and they sent in his replacement before I ever heard anything about mine. So I called and they said that everything was clean, but it for some reason was still stuck in background, so the guy went ahead and manually sent it through and it was in my wallet within a week. So, I dunno how long it's actually supposed to take in the Sunshine State, but if it takes longer than average it might not hurt to place a phone call. But, it just seems like these things take forever no matter what state you live in...

When I applied for my CCW in Florida, it only took 10 days to get the CCW in the mail. However, I had to wait around 60 days for the appointment to do everything at the Div of Licenses in Orlando.

Well i just called them and entered my tracking number on my packet.
They said it's been received and it's still being processed... They said current wait time is 6-8 weeks. Well I'm past the wait time... maybe it will come this week

I have a friend who did the same thing and he's been waiting about a month and half and is still waiting. He called the number and they said he application has been accepted and is currently "being processed". I went down to the Department of Agriculture and did everything at their office and I got my permit in he mail 8 business later.

I was going to the one in Jacksonville, was told it is allot faster, well I guess it is when you get a appointment , i tried calling three days in a row for a appointment , and couldn't get anywhere.
