Tv program on Gun Control

Last night, Public Television in Seattle & Yakima Washington aired a one hour panel discussion on gun control. The program can be viewed at this link: http://kcts9.org/public-matters-cr-douglas/guns-control-safety-and-rights

I was not able to watch it straight through, but I did record it for later viewing. It was recorded after the Café Racer shooting http://abcnews.go.com/US/ian-stawicki-seattle-cafe-racer-shooter-kills-shootscitywide/story?id=16463885 and before the Aurora theater and Sikh temple shootings.

All panel members are from the local area. The panel included:

A member of ‘Washington CeaseFire’, balanced by the Chairman of the ‘Citizens Committee for the Right to Keep and Bear Arms’, and the founder and Executive Director of the ‘Second Amendment Foundation’ (both national originations)

Two local talk show hosts (one pro, one anti)

Two politicians (one pro, one anti)

The U.S. Attorney for the Western District of Washington (anti)


In spite of the panel consisting of 4 anti vs. 3 pro, the discussion was pretty well balanced. The discussion revolved around a fictitious shooting at a local street fair. It is (in my opinion) worth a watch, if nothing else, to see how the anti crowd thinks.

I'm sorry, that was kinda irritating... the anti-gunners trying to change subject once logic comes out in things... "well, umm, no mass shooting we've ever had has ended that way, so...."
