truck gun
Im contemplating choices for a truck gun. Im thinking either a xdm 45 or draco ak pistol. And yes, im serious. I figure the 45 is easily manueverable but the draco has way more capacity and stopping power. Both are realitively affordable.
What does everyone think?

I have a Mauser mod 93 set up as a scout in 7x57 reworked to take m14 mags and I carry a P220 Sig 45 acp

Not allowed to carry loaded rifles in vehicles in Colorado. So, I just carry a .22lr Marlin with a loaded magazine, but not in the rifle, for plinking around the farm. I also just have a little Beretta .32 Tomcat that stays in the glove compartment. I'm a tad paranoid about having guns stolen out of my vehicles. So, don't have anything in them permanently that I would hate to lose.
A Drako would be cool to have in the truck, but it would probably be mistaken for a rifle by a police officer, and I'd be in trouble. Would also hate to have it stolen.

You can have a loaded magazine in a rifle in a vehicle in the state of Colorado. It just can't be chambered.
33-6-125. Possession of a loaded firearm in a motor vehicle.
It is unlawful to possess any firearm, other than a pistol or revolver, in or on any motor vehicle unless the chamber of
such firearm is unloaded. For the purposes of this section, a "muzzle-loader" shall be considered unloaded if it is not primed, and, for such purpose, "primed" means having a percussion cap on the nipple or flint in the striker and powder in the flash pan.
I always have my 12 gauge in my truck just in case a buddy calls me up to go bird hunting or shoot clays. Since it's an O/U I have to keep it empty because that is considered having a round in the chamber. I always have a pistol on me so no need to carry another one in my truck.

I usually carry my XDm 45 and 2-3 spare mags. I have been looking at a used draco at my local gun shop, almost picked it up the last time I was in there. Hmmmmm . . maybe I will . . GREAT IDEA !!!
I also have an MPA 45, it has 30 round mags, I guess I could carry it and a few mags too !!!!
