CCW "Badge" !?

I was looking for a new wallet today on Amazon, and one of the recommended items was a CCW wallet/holder. This got me interested, so I did a quick search and ended up finding several CCW permit wallets/holders, but they all came with a badge too.

I have to wonder, who is actually wearing, or even carrying a CCW badge? Seems to serve no practical purpose. So, what is the point of these?

If you do a search you will find several threads concerning this subject, but the general conscensus is "Really, you actually have a badge?"

If you ever watched, or read any westerns, then you are familar with the term tin-horn. Someone who gets and wears a ccw badge is a tin-horn.

On the logical side; if you are wearing a ccw badge, then you have just told everyone you are carrying, and you lose any tatical advantage.

There is no good reason to purchase, wear, or otherwise display a ccw badge.

Oh, my dear & fluffy lord...

This one is gonna go sideways fast (as all discussions regarding CCW badges usually do).

IBTL.

(And, anyway--I don't think the badge is good enough--I always wear my CCW "sash")

Only the LEO wannabe's wear those things. It is the single most STUPID idea ever thought up for gun toters. How are you gonna use it? Pinned to your holster, like the REAL cops do? No one will ever see it unless you reveal your CONCEALED weapon. You gonna show it to the arriving LEOS? You're gonna point a shiny object at a bunch of pumped cops all holding .40 cal Glocks on you? Yea.... You gonna show it to the the witnesses and bystanders? OK, NOW you're bordering on impersonation. Don 't doubt that words, AND actions can get you arrested for impersonation.

Just say "no".
