I took my class March 10. DPS received my paperwork March 14. Currently my bg check is under review. I have heard that its currently taking between 30 and 45 days to receive.

I mailed off the final paper work to the DPS on the 21st of February and received license on March 21st, 30 days for me.

Mine was 37 days from the day I mailed it. Could of shaved an extra 7 days off of that since I had to re-submit my DD-214. If you have a military record, you have to send the long form.

I didnt take the class where you did, but I did mine in early February. A few days ago i got a letter in the mail from the Tx Dps, and I got excited. When I opened it, there was one of my passport photos and a letter explaining that my application was on hold because one of my photos was "stainded." All I could do was laugh. I took new photos and sent them in Monday. The wait continues...

Josh does everything there including the electronic fingerprinting. I have done my last two renewals with LSH. Last year it took about a month to receive it.
