Obama had his chance to change people's minds his first day. Instead of doing the right thing, and just taking office and getting to work like FDR did in the middle of a depression, he chose to have the most expensive ball of any president in history, he chose to spend more money on himself in 4 years than any 8 year president did. He spends more time on family vacations, the golf course, and in from of cameras than any president, when he should be behind a desk working.

So far, President Obama has taken 61 vacation days after 31 months in office. At this point in their presidencies, George W. Bush had spent 180 days at his ranch where his staff often joined him for meetings. And Ronald Reagan had taken 112 vacation days at his ranch.

Among recent presidents, Bill Clinton took the least time off -- 28 days.

To be fair, a presidential vacation away from the White House is not the same as a vacation for the average person. The president is still in contact with his advisers and on call for any emergency.

I said number of vacations though, not ammount of days, I might have been wrong, but there is a stronger emphasys on his personal spending. Bush's vacation days at his ranch were free. My larger point is that Obama spends too much money on himself. He asks so many people who make so much less than him to spend less and give more, yet he just spends and spends

I can't even begin to describe the levels of irony and political tyranny this one phrase embodies.

It is the religious people who support gun ownership, so if you ban religion then gun owners will lose their main supporters.

Religion and guns are not connected in any way, shape, or form, period. There is no reference to a firearm in any religious text, because they weren't invented till the 1300's. I am in no way religious and I support gun ownership. Try to wrap your brain around that little nugget.

That is why this thread is ONLY about supporting FREEDOM OF RELIGION so that FREEDOM TO BEAR ARMS can be also protected.

Show me one thing, ANYTHING, that infringes freedom of religion from the Obama administration. Okay, now stop typing the words 'birth control' like I know you are doing. Religious medical organization have every right to deny birth control to their patients, just like the government has EVERY FREAKING RIGHT to deny public money to medical organizations that do not provide adequate services (read: birth control) to it's customers. That has nothing to do with religious freedom anymore than using leeches to cure cancer.

When offensive words are being used, it is no longer a civil discussion among educated or informed people

Because if it is one thing I am very certain of, is that you have NEVER read the Bible in full; if you had, you would NOT display ignorance of facts

You make comments on christianity without first reading the book it is based on, so you can know if those claiming to represent it are being true representatives or not

For example, I know churches that reject gays, yet the bible says to love your neighbor .... it does NOT say to love your neighbor if they are not gay

yet, you seem to be the type of uninformed person who mocks christianity because you heard of a church that rejects gays -- had you be intelligent you would of consulted the Bible to first see if that church was representing the bible correctly

and by the way you replied here, I know FOR A FACT you would not had done that first. You would of spoken before being informed

but its okay, i used to be uninformed and ignorant just like you many years back

then i found God, and I quit being the vice leader of the the second largest street gang in the usa, of which i was a part of for 8 long and violent years
