What I think is funny is it only shows a weapon that is carried freely in the pocket or " Mexican style". Not in a good cc holster. I do catch myself adjusting my weapon but my new gunbelt should fix that.

So what? A preacher once told me the sure way to know if you understand your belief is to have to defend it. There are new people in here all the time, and it's good to re-hash some topics. They may garner knowledge or have knowledge to add.
So, why are you in this thread? If you don't like the subject, don't read the thread.

I think its a good char, I have def noticed myself turning my strong side away from people before. Just some friendly little advice against detection. And unless a cop is talking to me I don't want him to know I'm carrying.

Huh..and I thought it would be those folks (and yes, you do see them) that go out wearing their 511 pants and a "concealment" vest.

My favorite is the guy that wears 5-11 pants. Black " tactical boots". With the pants tucked in and a Od green shirt that is skin tight. Then he has a dang fanny pack around his waist. I wonder what's in there. I bet it's not sunscreen and a map

The sight of your piece will more often deter a BG rather than bring the first shot your way. It's been proven time and time again that the BG is easily confused if the scene doesn't go down exactly the way he's imagined it. The BG does not want to shoot anyone - he knows he'd do down for Murder One, instead of armed robbery. He does NOT want an armed confrontation with a determined citizen. He wants it slick and easy. The BG doesn't have time or interest in anyone but the person who controls the money - usually the clerk behind the counter. He's not going to be inspecting everyone's waistline to see if they're armed. Just my .02.

This is all assuming that you are dealing with a rational BG who plans his bad deed. ALOT of the time the BG is a whacked out druggie who doesn't give a rat's ass about anything other than his next fix, or a predator who places no value on human life and gives no second thought to shooting someone. In those cases I'd rather he. Ot k ow I am armed so that I have at least some control over how things unfold, at least theoretically

My favorite comment was this guy that posted a while back. He was in a state that you can open carry, so he was looking for a good left handed drop leg holster so he could carry both his tactical xd and service xd in drop leg holsters.
