#1. Know company policy
#2. Don't lie to boss
#3. Don't violate company policy
#4. If company policy is silent to possession of firearms on company property, then you should be silent as well. If it says it's not authorized, then leave it in the truck. If it says you can carry with supervisor permission, then, and only then, talk to your supervisor about it.

This sounds good ...

I've been carrying at work for many years. Even before the advent of CCW permits. Never been "made", and I carried even at companies that have policies forbidding it (I was willing to live with being fired). When working for companies that didn't like guns, I didn't carry a big gun. I carried a small gun that fit in my pocket without printing.

Right now, I work at a place that doesn't care if I carry a gun at work. I carry the small gun (NAA .22 revolver), and a big gun (9mm XD9SD) ...

This post is useless until you find out if you are legal to CC at work. I for one would not advise you to break the law or company policy. If it's not allowed at your work place then you need to decide if your personal safety / threat is worth keeping your job / versus getting fired / arrested!

Don't say it is an insulin pump. Most people carry thim on their front hip, and it could become an issue with insurance, if she reported it.

Does your company have a written policy book? If so, get it and read it. Is there anything in it regarding firearms/ weapons at work?

Do you work in an area that you expect trouble?
If not, then why take the chance of losing your job?

because I am subject to Federal as well as company regulations, my sidearm stays in the car. HATE IT.... However if there are incidents of Piracy starting in the Gulf of Mexico, I will ignore all the regulations, but, for now.....

IF she is hot tell her you will show her what is poking out in your shirt if she shows you whats poking out in hers. LOL in all seriousness like stated before you have to find out what your company rules are. I myself cant carry as I work in a court house. But I would love to if I could.

Corporate policy of my employer is structured to establish a free fire zone of victims by disarming all employees.

I requested permission to work from home.

We have an Open policy at work, so to be sure I got the owner a CCW class for Xmas, he still needs to file for the permit but once he gets it I know his gun will be close...he bought a new one after class.

Mine is usually in the vehicle as I am in clients homes almost everyday and not sure how one would react.
